"He always remind me of Thierry Henry" - Morgan

Arsenal managed to secure a narrow win over Bournemouth on Sunday. With these three points, the Gunners have moved up to the third spot in the league table and the fans are naturally happy. Piers Morgan, on that note, has been vocal about the performances of Nicolas Pepe against the Cherries.

Pepe, a new recruit for Arsenal, has joined the side with huge promises. Unfortunately, in the first few days, his performances were not top notch. For the much anticipated Manchester United fixture last weekend, Pepe failed to leave his mark and was heavily criticized by the fans. But, he is now getting back to form slowly. In the Sunday encounter against Bournemouth, he played for more than an hour and impressed everyone with his skills and display. It was Pepe’s assist that led to the goal from David Luiz and Arsenal won the fixture by that solitary goal.

During the win at the Emirates, Piers Morgan took to Twitter and complimented Pepe for his inspiring display. He said that the Ivorian was in a much better shape.

And then, when another Arsenal fan said that the players needs to score, Morgan was confident that he will. In fact, he went to the length of comparing Nicolas Pepe to Arsenal legend Thierry Henry as well.

The former Lille footballer has played major parts in Arsenal’s last six Premier League games. He scored a goal against Aston Villa and has recorded two assists so far. The 24 year old is expected to start the proceedings once again when Arsenal face Sheffield United in two weeks. Meanwhile, during the international break, Unai Emery will get a chance to rethink his strategies and figure out how to utilize Pepe’s abilities as best as he can. The Gunners can surely be hopeful for a better future.
