Arsenal set to seal deal for Serie A Star man

Arsenal are reportedly interested in strengthening their defensive options with the addition of Serie A champions, Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani on loan.

Talismanic defender Laurent Koscielny looks likely to return to Ligue 1 after refusing to travel on the Gunners’ pre-season tour of the US and head-coach Unai Emery is keen to sell German centre-back Shkodran Mustafi on after an error-strewn campaign.
If those two leave the Emirates Stadium, alongside youngster Krystian Bielik who has made move to Derby County, Arsenal would be left with just Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Rob Holding and Calum Chambers.
Italian giants are looking to trim some of the fringe players from their ranks after an impressive summer in which several new faces have arrived at the Allianz Stadium, notably Matthijs de Ligt from Ajax and Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer.
However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport the North London club’ offer of a two-year loan deal for Italian centre-back has been turned down due to Giorgio Chiellini sustaining a calf injury that could keep him out of the early portion of the campaign.
The Gunners have already have secured the services of Brazilian forwrd Gabriel Martinelli and French defender William Saliba this summer and announced the capture of Nicolas Pepe for a club-record fee, with a deal for Kieran Tierney also in the line.
